The graphic design studio Poster House was founded in 2006 in Bulgaria by Lyuba Tomova and Nenko Atanasov. They are graduated artists from the National Academy of Arts, with a master degree in “Poster”. The studio is specialized in the area of poster (copyright, social, cultural, theatrical, etc.) and trademark (logotype, company style, corporate identity). Its activities spread in the field of printed graphic design, as well as in some specific spheres of the applied graphics: philately and numismatics.

The artists of Poster House participate actively in Bulgarian and world poster and graphic design forums, such as: The Moscow International Biennale of Graphic Design — Golden Bee 9 (2010); The International Triennial of Stage Poster — Sofia (2010, 2007, 2004); The International Biennial of Humour and Satire in the Arts, Gabrovo (2009, 2007, 2005); The Bulgarian Design Biennial, Sofia (2008); The International Biennial of Poster, Bolivia (2009); The International Biennial of Poster, Mexico City (2006).

The artists are winners of many prestigious awards for poster: The International Biennial of Humour and Satire in the Arts — Gabrovo (2009, 2007, 2005); The International Triennial of Stage Poster — Sofia (2007); The Information Centre of the European Union — Sofia (2004), etc.

The Portfolio of Poster House presents many awards of logotype competitions and numerous prestigious projects that have been carried out. The most remarkable of them are: the first award in the competition for logo of the Operational Programme on Transport 2007–2013 (organized by the Ministry of Transport, 2008); the first award from the logo competition of the Social Forum “Rhodopa — Voice of Time” (organized by the Smolyan and Zlatograd Municipalities, 2007); the second place in the logo competition of the Bulgarian Chamber of Graduated Surveyors (2007); the third place in the logo competition of tourist destination of Gabrovo (2010). The project of the Studio for logo of “Sofia — Applicant City for the winter olympic games in 2014” was selected among the final five variants (2005). Poster House is the author of the logo of the Beach Soccer Commission, part of the Bulgarian Football Union. Nenko Atanasov (when being part of the Euro RSCG Sofia team) is the graphic designer of the “Bulgarian Olympic Committee” logo (2006).

The Poster House artists have carried out several independent poster exhibitions and activities, such as: “15:15” — the House of Humor and Satire, Gabrovo (2009); “Paper-clip Exhibition” — Minproject Gallery, Sofia (2007); “Posters in the Subway” — Metropolitan Sofia LTD (2007); “A place to post” — the House of Humor and Satire, Gabrovo (2006). They are also participants in many art exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad.

Lyuba Tomova and Nenko Atanasov are members of the Chamber of Designers in Bulgaria (since 2012), Union of Bulgarian Artists — section “Graphic design” (since 2007) and New Vision International Group (since 2002).
